It all began by chance in 2017. I had just completed my 200-hour teacher training and was in the midst of my mentorship training at Yoga Vida in New York City. At the time, Instagram was dominating social media, and posting yoga photos had become standard for both teachers and practitioners. With my educational background in film and digital technology, some of the teachers from my training believed that I could take some yoga photos for them. Although video production is far different from photography, I figured I could give it a try since I had always been interested in it.

And so, the journey began.

Since then, I have had the privilege of traveling the world, capturing yoga photos and videos on retreats, at studios, and co-publishing a yoga photography book titled My Yoga. My City. | Volume 1 (New York City). I have had the opportunity to capture content for thousands of yogis, from Deepak Chopra to Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman Yee, and have enjoyed every moment. Like with my yoga practice, my production skills have improved over the years, and I am continuously learning.

To allow me to create yoga content for teachers, students, studios, and other yoga companies, HoF Productions was created as a brand within the House of Flow family. Understanding alignment, knowing which poses photograph well from what angles, and more put me in a small group of content creators from around the world who can best capture the beauty of yoga. No matter your specific needs or budget, HoF Productions will always find a way.
