Join Erica Chen Henry for an epic 4-day yoga retreat from November 15-19, 2023, in one of her favorite places in the United States: Sedona, Arizona! Known for its red rock scenery and evergreen vegetation, Sedona is truly an awe-inspiring city, buzzing with energy vortexes. These swirling energy centers are conducive to healing, meditation, and self-exploration, and we'll encounter them on our group hike! Sedona is also home to numerous inspiring local artists, shops, and galleries. We'll visit a local winery, explore, and have fun. We will also go on a led tour to the Grand Canyon, one of the world's seven natural wonders!
With twice-daily yoga, meditation, and breathwork, this retreat will allow you to tune inwards, deepen your understanding of yoga, and enjoy the benefits of sound healing with a live music class and sound bath. MAIN HOUSE
Come stay at this unique and stunning home that perfectly combines the Mid Century style with the captivating charm of Sedona's Southwest. This expansive 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom residence spans over 4000 square feet and boasts 93 meticulously designed windows that offer panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. You can enjoy a game of ping pong or pool on the breezeway, relax on the deck, or sink into sumptuous furnishings while reading a good book. Explore the beautiful grounds and nearby attractions, just a short 20-minute journey away.
Located on 5 acres of securely fenced and gated estate land near Oak Creek, this custom-built home pays homage to Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural genius. Its crescent moon shape creates a seamless flow throughout the house, with stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that invite the Sedona sunlight to dance within. The living room features exquisite built-in bookshelves and a magnificent stone fireplace that commands attention.
Unwind in the conversation pit encircling the fireplace, providing ample seating for special gatherings. Alternatively, sink into the plush leather chairs in front of the 75" TV, where you can catch a game, enjoy a movie, or simply enjoy the warmth of the fire. This space offers the perfect vantage point to absorb the breathtaking beauty of Sedona or lose yourself in a captivating book.
The kitchen and dining area, seamlessly connected to the living space, offer an epicurean haven for culinary enthusiasts. Revel in the abundance of granite counters, complemented by an array of stainless steel appliances, including double dishwashers and stoves/ovens crowned with exquisite copper hoods. The dining area, complete with a TV, provides ample seating, bar stools, and two dining tables – one cleverly transforms into a ping-pong/pool table for entertainment.
BARN
The loft sits on top of a barn, and stairs are required to enter the property. The front room features two comfy queen beds on opposite sides – one is a queen daybed with a plush pillow top, and the other is a queen platform bed with a Tempur-Pedic mattress. The closet and dresser provide storage for your stay. The grand front window has mountainside and rock views, making it beautiful during the daytime and indescribable at night with all the stars. You can even grab binoculars from underneath the bench and gaze at the stars up close.
GUEST HOUSE
The gorgeous chandelier sconces and pellet stove heater add character to this lovely guest house. In the built-in library, you'll find hundreds of books, including many about Sedona's art, hikes, history, vortexes, and more. The bedroom has a comfy queen bed, and a queen sofa bed pulls out from the couch. Many crystals are placed throughout the home to bring in the Sedona experience and promote a sense of healing and tranquility. You can read about their different healing powers in the crystal books!
