An ancient tantric practice and a modern relaxation science, Yoga Nidra is practiced lying comfortably in Savasana, in a state of deep conscious relaxation. It can be a great refresher in the midst of your day or a calming evening practice. It has been said that 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra or any deep meditation can be equivalent to 4 hours of sleep for the mind and body. It is a great practice for embedding intentions, whether short-term goals or life themes, because our consciousness enters those rich, deeper layers where our choices are written.
